The results of the "Rauf Mutluay Literature Award Short Story and Poetry Competition," organized to commemorate the late author Rauf Mutluay (who has produced numerous works in various genres of Turkish literature such as essays, criticism, and short stories, and who served as a Turkish language and literature teacher at FMV Işık High School campuses) have been announced. The competition took place with the participation of high school students from our four campuses.

During the online evaluation meeting held on May 12, 2023, the Jury Members of the competition, Feridun Andaç, Haydar Ergülen, Mine Soysal, Onur Caymaz, and Turgay Fişekçi, unanimously decided the winners. In the short story category, Ada Atakan, a 10th-grade student from FMV Ayazağa Işık High School, won first place with her work titled "A Place from Heaven." In the poetry category, Ela Özcan, an 11th-grade student from FMV Erenköy Işık Science High School, won first place with her work titled "Comb." Additionally, our 10th-grade student Rona Tümen and 9th-grade student Irmak Cebeci received honorable mention awards for their short stories.
